Christian Lukey graduated with honours at Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, holding various managerial positions in the Hospitality sector. Moving on from pure operations, he focused on traditional hotel distribution channels via wholesale agencies, took over the electronic distribution as well as acted as liaison in the GDS activities of the Amari Hotels and Resorts group in Thailand. He then focused on the eCommerce platform of Sawadee.com, one of Thailand’s pioneer travel ecommerce portal, where he held the role of COO. He then took on a regional business development position for Hotel Reservation Service (HRS) GmbH opening the branch in Singapore, covering the APAC region. Since August 2014, he heads the hotel team of Amadeus IT for the Asia Pacific region where he is driving a hotel dedicated start-up team within the larger organization.
