Olympic Games, Eurofoot or Ryder Cup... from application to D-day

Olympic Games, Ryder Cup or Eurofoot : have you ever wondered how those large events are developed from candidate application to D-day ? And how their massive flows of people are managed ?

Thanks to the experience of Stefano Manelli (GC’04), Director of Citec Torino, a Swiss transport consultancy firm, the EPFL team is glad to propose a new event in Milano on the topic of large events’ management on Tuesday, the 11th of February. Stefano has been working on transport planning and operations for large events for more than 10 years and had a wide range of activities in that field among which : Technical advisor for FIFA and UEFA ; Member of the Evaluation Commission for Olympic Games ; Expert for Olympic Games applicant cities (ans specifically for Milano-Cortina 2026).
 
After Stefano Manelli’s presentation, the discussion and the networking will continue around an aperitivo.
